Q: How do I book a tattoo?
A: You can easily book online through Venue Ink or by clicking the "Book your Appointment" button on the home page. Through Venue Ink, you will send your request with tons of photos and info of what your wanting, pick a time that works for you, place your deposit. Once confirmed, your spot is secured!

 

Q: Do I need a deposit?
A: Yes, a deposit of $50 secures your session and ensures we’re both ready for your tattoo. Deposits are applied toward your total tattoo end cost.

 

Q: Can I change or cancel my appointment?
A: Life happens! Just contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. Deposits are generally non-refundable, but we work with clients to move appointments when possible.

 

Tattoo Prep

Q: How should I prepare for my tattoo?
A: Get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy meal, and stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothes that give easy access to the area being tattooed, make sure your skin is clean and lotion-free and DON'T SHAVE THE AREA YOU WANT TATTOOED. Also, avoid alcohol or drugs before your session. 

 

Q: I have sensitive skin or a medical condition — can I still get tattooed?
A: Definitely! Just let us know in advance so we can discuss any precautions and make sure you have a safe and comfortable experience.

 

During Your Session

Q: What should I expect during my tattoo?
A: Your session takes place in a calm, welcoming space. We’ll discuss your design and placement before starting, and you can take breaks whenever needed. Remember, it’s not just about the tattoo — it’s about the experience.

 

Q: How long will my tattoo take?
A: Time depends on the size and complexity of your design. Small tattoos can take under an hour, while larger pieces may require multiple sessions. We’ll always give you an honest estimate before starting.

 

Aftercare

Q: How do I take care of my tattoo?
A: Every client receives a detailed aftercare guide, including soap and moisturizer. Follow the instructions carefully for the best healing and results. We also offer specialty soaps and moisturizers for sale on our website. 

 

Q: When will my tattoo fully heal?
A: Most tattoos heal in 2–4 weeks, but larger or more detailed pieces may take longer, between 2-4 months to FULLY heal (not just look and feel healed). Keep it clean, moisturized, and avoid direct sun exposure during the healing process.

Q: Do tattoos hurt?
A: Everyone experiences tattoos differently. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but breaks are always allowed, and we work with you to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

 

Q: Can I bring a friend or family member?
A: Absolutely! Your support system is welcome, the more the marrier!
